138 of 365 for 2009 – Tranquil Part One

TranquilI’m best viewed bigger

The night I was at the Gig Harbor Marina it was raining slightly and very quite. No activity to speak of and it was so peaceful. The water was very still and the loudest thing I heard while there was a sea lion rippling through the water fishing for his dinner. If I had a boat I’d sure as heck keep it here.

  1. How pretty. This is such a peaceful scene, love the calm water with those reflections, and especially love the light and it’s reflection.

  2. So serene…perfect time of day for the shot, it’s gorgeous!

  3. The reflections, the light in the distance…tranquil is the perfect word for this scene. Lovely shot.

  4. Both this and part 2 are so serene, fabulous muted colors and reflections.

  5. I can see why you’d want to have a boat here. The light on the hillside is a nice added touch.

  6. Wow! Detail and clarity are lovely and it does have an overwhelming sense of tranquility.
