126 of 365 for 2009 – Baked Goods

Baked Goods

Here is a loaf of my wife’s bread. This is a case of good enough in terms of lighting. Sometimes I nail the lighting right off the bat, others it isn’t until the 85th shot that I get it right. All part of the learning process. I am tired though so here it is, in all its yummy goodness.

  1. I love homemade bread. I don’t make it anymore because I end up eating the whole loaf LOL! You are making me crave it though – something about the smell of warm bread, mmmmmmmmmm!!

  2. I’m impressed that you restrained yourself from eating the fresh bread long enough to get a shot of it! And I like the lighting. It looks like early morning and I can alsmost smell the freshly baked bread smell from here!

  3. Mmmm……..that looks so good. I love baking bread but mine is never so pretty. Kudos to your wife! I think the lighting is unique and quite nice. What would you have done better if you’d had more time?

    • I would have tried to get some light towards the bottom of the bread. As it is, the light kind of dies before it makes it to the bottom of the loaf as it curves to the base. I guess it looks good this way too but I would have liked to have had that other shot for a comparison to this one.

Oh, and the bread was delicious, when nicely with some scrambled eggs and coffee this morning.

  4. Your lighting on this is great and the bread looks delicious!

  5. WOW! That looks beautiful! Nice job to both of you!

  6. The bread looks wonderfully delicious so I think the lighting is great.

  7. MMMMMM – looks yummy! I like the warm lighting – goes with the cozy feel of homemade bread.

  8. Great looking loaf of bread. Great lighting too. nothing wrong with that. yum..

  9. Fresh bread is the best!! Great composition and lighting.
