Happy Valentines Day! 45 of 365 for 2009 “Up on Top”

Up on Top

These two folks celebrated a little early today and I just happened to bumble along and see it. Two Red-tailed Hawks and it is easy for once to tell the male from female!

Yes, one of my other hobbies is bird watching and seeing this was a first for me!

  12. What lucky timing! There are 2 pairs of Red Tails that nest and breed in NYC on the ledges of buildings…one is Pale Male & Lola.
    They’re so beautiful!
