"Sense of Motion"enlarge

The drain of a fountain at the Wells Fargo plaza in front of their building in downtown Tacoma. I couldn’t help thinking about the economy and the possible metaphor of a drain in front of a banking institution.

  1. I expected Wells Fargo to have a much bigger Drain after recent events.

  2. Very creative image for the theme – love the movement of the water and the flooring around the drain! Nice!

  3. You could use this for recessionary economics, too! The coins in the water give this an abstract look, a nice contrast with the crisp water falling over the lip of the drain.

  4. Interesting drain. I do love your shot, and your comment! That should be dollar bills going down that drain (but I guess they’re going into executives’ pockets, instead)!

  5. Fabulous photograph and use of the theme. Great angle, textures, everything.

  6. Very nice, the colors are especially good with the metaphorical overtones.

  7. As much as I like the metaphorical possibilities I love the color and how you captured the water.

  8. I love the way you’ve caught the sense of motion and if you look closely enough in the center, there are a couple of trillion more going down.

  9. Great choice for sense of motion…perfect commentary too! Nicely done…turned out fabulous!
